Sixty postcards of trams were issued in sets, and published by Prescott-Pickup & Co., Ltd. of Bridgnorth, Shropshire in the late 1960s and 1970s. The business was located on the Stanmore Industrial Estate.

The illustrations are based on lithographs. The artwork was also released in limited edition prints.

The earlier postcards had no information on the verso, but this changed with the release of Tramcyclopaedia in 1979.  In 1977, the tramcar postcards were published in Evening Post Nostalgia Miniatures. Tramcars and Tramways : a series of sixty prints.

Prescott-Pickup also published collections of postcards and cigarette cards highlighting railway locomotives, vintage cars, famous footballers, militaria and the royal family.  The company, incorporated on 11 May 1967, is now dissolved.
