Wreaths were laid by representatives of the Irish, British, German, Canadian and Australian governments, service organizations and individuals.
Marshall Foch, Supreme Allied Commander during the First World War,
offered at tribute to the Irish soldiers who had fought on behalf of his country.
It was delivered on the 10th anniversary of Armistice Day.
