Lieutenant George Lissant Beardmore

George Lissant Beardmore (1877-1936), the son of
Walter Dowker Beardmore and Melinda Elizabeth Williams, was a lieutenant in the
23 Reserve Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. (See also:
23rd Reserve Battalion) After escaping from Germany as a civilian, he enlisted in England on 23 April 1915, and was discharged on 25 June 1916 on the grounds of ill health.
